Quicker and cheaper than going to the supermarket.
A very simple approach to making dips. Experiment by changing the beans you use, and the spices & herbs.
You can make this thicker by using less oil, or runnier by adding lemon juice, or blitzing tomatoes into it. Try adding some garlic paste or wasabi paste; maybe some harissa or chipotle. The possibilities are pretty much endless - get creative!
INGREDIENTS
garlic
parsley
1 tin cannellini beans
olive oil
tahini
horseradish sauce
salt

METHOD
Put the chick peas, garlic, olive oil and parsley into a bowl or jug and blitz
Add a tsp of tahini and one of horseradish sauce - stir them in
Taste as you go and add more flavouring as desired
spoon out into a serving dish, drizzle with oil, and dust with paprika
Dip into it with broccoli florets, carrot batons, breadsticks, crisps - whatever you like!
